Education and Technology Technology has become a major component in the system of education. Technology and education in the U.S. has changed the way people learn nowadays. Being on the 21st century the lives of people have changed immensely due to a high increase in technology inventions. Communication definitely has evolved in so many ways with the newer technology being used. In the 1980’s an enthusiast named Seymour Papert predicted that computers would allow learners to construct and test hypothesis about complex systems. The introduction of computers to schools would totally change the way students and teachers communicate, argued Papert on his prediction. Also, the introductions of computers would allow students to easily access any information they want and would facilitate new forms of creative expression. Technology have shaped teaching and learning because in the 1990’s schools spent increasing amounts of funds on computers, networks, internet access and other technology devices. Thi s indicated that the learning process was going to be transformed because it was worth it and all the equipment was being used to change the form of learning.
